SENTENCE
日本人ですか? Are you Japanese?

Kanji learning is broken.

You've tried flashcard apps. You've stared at lists of characters with no context. You can recognize in isolation but freeze when you see 食べ放題 on a restaurant sign. Sound familiar?

Memorize and forget

Flashcard apps teach characters in isolation. You pass the quiz, then forget it by next week because you never used it.

The vocabulary gap

You know individual kanji but can't read real words. Nobody tells you when you're ready to combine them.

📖

Textbook Japanese

Study apps drill you on sentences no one actually says. Meanwhile, you can't read the sign right in front of you.

What if every word you learned was one you'd earned?

Kanji Tree doesn't hand you a random vocabulary list. It builds your reading ability piece by piece. Learn kanji first. When you've mastered the right characters, the words they form appear automatically. When you know the words, real sentences unlock. Nothing is random. Nothing is wasted.

How is this different from Anki or WaniKani?

Most apps teach kanji as isolated characters or use spaced repetition on random lists. Kanji Tree connects every kanji to the words it forms and the sentences those words appear in. You don't just memorize — you build reading ability step by step.

I'm a complete beginner. Can I use this?

Absolutely. The path starts at JLPT N5 — the very beginning. You'll learn your first kanji and be reading simple real-world sentences within minutes.

Is it available on Android?
